JModels 5, 6 and 8 are the only Tight Retro Jersey Models with 5 being a U collar, 6 being a V collar, and 8 being some strange contorted sleeved jersey with (I believe) a V collar, though all JModels are compatible with retro shorts.

This Mod will have some downfalls that I haven't been able to crack just yet and I don't know if they're solvable. I'm currently working around the clock on a lot of modifications at the moment but have put this on hold until a fix can be found for the shorts import issue, once that's figured out I can focus on fine tuning things. I write all this hoping that with the combined knowledge of the community we can achieve tight realistic jerseys to go with normal shorts. I'm not sure why it's doing this but if I can just get it to import properly I'll be able to move on from the shorts step and work on perfecting the tight jersey hopefully though from my understanding just Blender edits don't make the jerseys appear the way they do in the created 3D model. With all that being said I feel like I'm close to getting this mod close to being useable, I'm just having the issue when importing the shorts 3D model into the cloth_shorts.iff it gives me a jumbled mess of a model rather than the model I created as seen here: I've combined half short-shorts half regular shorts to match the 596 needed vertices as well as created a 596 vertices shorts model from scratch to meet the requirements however this didn't make the cut. As seen below, the bottom of the shorts are a solid and the legs protrude through the insides of the shorts where the retro shorts would normally stop (from my understanding, also the bottom of the shorts intersect with the legs

I've edited the retro shorts to make them longer, this didn't work due to physics issues. So what I've been working on is a 3d Model of regular shorts to import into the short-short layer of the cloth_shorts.iff, however when you import just the default shorts you get an error as it doesn't match the number of Vertices in the 3D model. Below is to show you what I mean about the pattern with JModel 5 and ShortsStl 2: Meaning ShortsStl 1 or 0, with one of them being normal shorts, cannot be combined with the retro jerseys. All JModel 5's Line up with ShortsStl 2, being the retro short-shorts, any other combination with JModel 5 causes the game to crash. The pattern I noticed in Red MC with retro teams is the Jersey Model (JModel) is 5 which is the tight jersey style with a U collar. If you notice below the various tabs that affect Uniforms: Jtype (Jersey Type), ShortsStl (Shorts Style), Jmodel (Jersey Model. In RED MC, in the Jerseys Tab I played around with a few things and made a few discoveries. I'm working on a way to get the tight retro jerseys working with normal style shorts. Now this is where things get slightly complicated and the limitations of this are revealed. Anyway, This was achieved by using 2k's mechanics of how retro jerseys appear. The Jerseys have some slight cloth movement but with no overlapping as seen when cloth moves and intersects creating that weird somewhat ripped paper look, though the movement is minimal. which was an occurrence with Bliss' tight jersey mod. It allows for player movement with no glitches, undershirts can be worn, etc.

Looks pretty decent compared to the paper thin baggy jerseys 2k uses as default. Anyways, the above previews are what I've achieves so far with experimenting with multiple variables.

I replaced 3D models and did maybe 5 other things until finally I discovered the key. So with this I knew of course that earlier retro uniforms are linked to the various cloth.iff's in 2k's folder I just had to figure out what correlated with what in order to get the tight jerseys. When I read through the posts I saw the uniform number was uh570.iff so I just replaced that with the jersey h0rt created for me to test out and to my surprise, the jerseys were perfectly tight with actual cloth physics with no overlapping, etc. I ran into this accidentally when testing a jersey that bigh0rt made from a request I had for the NCAA2K mod in which he used the 64-65 Lakers uniform as a template to create the Michigan State Spartans Nike Elite jersey. Anywho I have been actively working on a way to get tight jerseys with correct physics and no need to decrease player detail.

I discussed the idea with a select few and have reached out to a few people (some with no response) thank you to those that have answered me. Alright guys, this is something I've had in the works for a little while now but have been waiting on RED MC to test it out.
